ROOM DESCRIPTION
This room is called the Green Magpie room. Its name is inspired by a resident bird from the Perak aviary base. Facing our tranquil water garden, this room is sized at 250 sq ft. The magpie illustration in Sarang Paloh refers specifically to the Green Magpie (Cissa chinensis), commonly found in the lower Himalayas down to central Thailand, Malaysia, Sumatra and northwestern Borneo. They inhabit evergreen forests, clearings and scrubs, seeking food both on the ground and trees.
